All of us have to make the journey from darkness to light. It is a universal truth. From the time we are born, to the end of out life, we are on a journey. We begin our journey in darkness, when we are in our mother's womb, seeing nothing, and knowing nothing, but we are meant to end life enlightened. This journey is not easy, it takes a lot of courage, and a lot of failures - but we are meant to finish victorious, whatever that maybe for each person.
Why We’re Here
Every life is a journey—from the shadows into the light. From the moment we are born until our final breath, we are on this path. We begin in darkness, hidden in our mother’s womb, seeing nothing and knowing nothing, yet we are destined to finish our days in the light of understanding.
This journey is not without its struggles. It demands courage, resilience, and the willingness to rise again after many failures. But we are called to finish victoriously, whatever that may mean for each soul.
John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress comes to mind—a timeless picture of life’s pilgrimage, marked by trials, pitfalls, joys, and sorrows. Yet for those who persevere, the end is glorious. To the victorious is given the crown of life.

The Journey Within
Faith
A young man began reading Genesis and wondered if it was more than a story about the beginning of the world.
He saw the light as a symbol of truth entering the mind. Adam and Eve became symbols of human thoughts, feelings, and desires.
The forbidden fruit reminded him of how people can turn toward self-love and away from God. The Flood showed him that false and harmful things can be washed away, making room for a new beginning.
He slowly understood that the six days of creation could represent the stages of spiritual growth, while the seventh day represented peace and rest with God.
He closed the Bible and thought:
“Maybe Genesis is not only about how the world was created. Maybe it is also about how we can create a better self.”
And that became his new understanding of faith.
